Here is the class group photo. Jeff S and Stu showed up that evening. Anyone have any photos with them? You can enlarge the photos by clicking on them.

And here we are with the families...

A big thank you to Kathy and her husband Kevin for sharing their photos. If anyone has any more, please email me.

Ok, I really think THIS is the final post

I tried to email everyone but I don't have all the email addresses and some of them bounced back to me, so I'm posting this here in hopes that people might check it.

Jennifer has set up a tour of the school on Saturday before the reunion. We're meeting at 11am in the back parking lot by the gym. Bring the whole family. I haven't been in there in a few years so I'm interested to see what it looks like now. Hope to see some of you there!

Final Update (I think)

Sorry I've been so late in posting this information. I was having trouble accessing the blog and then I got distracted. Just ask Dean as I didn't email him back for an entire month...

Ok, so here's the scoop:
If you RSVP'd for the reunion, you should have received a postcard with this info on it already. If you did not RSVP and still want to come, it's not too late. It may be too late to order a meal, but definitely not to late to come. Just give Steve a call.

So far, (and I'm doing this from memory so if I left someone out, I'm sorry) Jeff and I, Abby, Leslie, Rob B, Bob N, Aaron, Kary, Lisa F, Kathy, Dean, Bill, Jennifer, Lisa P, Holly, Charlie, and maybe Stuart are coming. (Steve too of course) The cost is per classmate (not per person) and it's $25. This includes the cost of renting a tent, some tables and chairs, paper products, portable toilets, water, and lemonade and such. I f you want something other than (or stronger than) lemonade, please bring your own. If you want the meal from Millers (chicken, jerked pork, potato, salad and roll), it's $9 a plate. And if the kids want hamburgers and hot dogs, it's $2 per child. Or you can always bring your own food.

There will be music, some crafts for kids (I'm not sure what they are but they involved color copies of the parents' yearbook photos), volleyball, a swing set for the kids and lots of time for everyone to catch up. Hope to see you there.

Update on attendance

Great news! We've now heard from two more classmates. Lisa P and Bob N will be attending. Don't forget to RSVP soon so the final cost can be tallied up. Also, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, they're welcome too!

We still haven't been able to contact Melinda, Mitchell, Robert S or Victor. So if anyone has a way to contact them, please let them know about the reunion.

Will you be there?

Steve asked me to post the RSVPs so far. Please try to do this (whether you're coming or not) by the end of the month. Shortly after that you'll know the cost, which shouldn't be that much. You can email or call Steve directly.

So far, in addition to Steve, of course:
Charlie
Henry
Holly
Jeff and I
Jennifer
Kary
Kathy
Lisa F
Robb

have all said they'd be there. Come on, you know you want to come.

Steve also said that he plans to take the kiddos to the grandparents later in the day and hang out with anyone who wants to stay into the night so people can talk without kids running around. So, if you can't make it during the day, come in the evening. I think most people have relatives in the area, but if anyone with kids wants to stay late and is having trouble finding a babysitter, email or call and we can try to find one.

More Reunion Events

Don't forget that the Alumni Banquet is June 28. The school will send something out as it gets closer. I've heard from several people that they plan to attend. Lisa F. said that even if you don't want to attend the Banquet at school, you can catch up with some classmates at the Davenport. Stop by the Davenport before, during, and/or after the banquet. It's like a warm up for the reunion and you may see some people that can't make it in July.

Holly was kind enough to set up a group tour of the wind farm. If you haven't been back in a while, the view looks a little different than it did 20 years ago. Anyone interested can meet at the visitor center on Friday, July 11, at 10:30. It's on Eagle Factory Road, which is off 177 just before you get to Lowville.
